May I Live On In Love and Literature

Merch REVEAL! {Stuff About Worthiness}

“You get to make your life.”-Cheryl Strayed

Brave Enough by Cheryl Strayed inspired me to write (and live) fiercely

In the Intro, she mentions the surprised flattery of having her quotes sold on pillows.

I wrote in my diary,

“Oh, to have a pillow made with one of my quotes!!!”

Now that I have Teespring store, I made that come true for myself.

Don’t wait for someone to decide you’re worthy.

Validate your worth first.

C.E. Hoffman’s “Sluts and Whores” Slated for Release

My interview with the amazing Misty Rampart of Pink Litter Magazine!

Pink Litter.

Past contributor C.E. Hoffman, who penned Bloom (Blowjobs) is set to release her collection of short stories February 14, 2021!

Go to her website for more information.

Here is an interview with the author:

PL: Please start by telling us a little about yourself and how you began as an artist.

C.E. Hoffman:I’ve felt the creative urge as long as I can remember. My parents will tell you I used to narrate stories minutes long (often longer!) when I was wee. I wrote my first full-length novel (over 400 pages) at eleven years old, and the muse has remained ever-loyal- if not demanding!

PL: What does the art express or mean to you personally? At the same time, what kind of thought or feeling are you trying to evoke from your audience?

C.E. Hoffman:Writing is my liferaft. Some seek inspiration to write- I seek methods to stop!…

Book Cover REVEAL! 💕 {Stuff About Dreams}

It’s here!

The cover is out, and I am ELATED!

Thank you again to Sean Trayner (for the exceptional photography) and Cedric Bacon (for the cover design, plus, you know, being my publisher!)

Follow your dreams and don’t give a damn!

FYI. Following your dreams is NOT about “succeeding.” It’s about being true to your highest calling, your highest self. If material success comes alongside your dreams, great.

What matters is you abide your crie de coeur.

Run. Laugh (or make other people laugh.) Cook. Care. Write. Paint.

LIVE your life as is intended:

with passion, with fervour, with love.

Happy NYE! {Stuff About Love}

“For as long as I can remember I’ve hated myself.

Believed I’d never be loved.”

-Elton, Rocketman

I sent out a flurry of Xmas cards this year.

I’ve moved back in with my folks; my mum had a stack of empty Hallmarks begging to be sent.

I wasn’t expecting anything back. The thought of friends near and far opening real, tangible expressions of love is more than enough for me.

Much to my surprise, I’ve been getting cards! I’ve placed them on my vanity in my room, and today, when I looked at them, I cried.

Giving is wonderful; getting is great.
True Love is reciprocal.

If I want to manifest the love I so long for, I have to let people in. Be honest; be vulnerable. I have to build trust, and, if intimacy allows, be bold enough to show my scars.

I never thought I’d make it this far. I’m sure a lot of you know how that feels.

I’m sure some of you reading this have tried to end it, or wanted to.

I want you to know that I love you.

I hope that today is the day you’ll start letting love in.

Believe me when I say love is everywhere.
Even when you don’t expect it.

Happy NYE.

Lucky Girl- Arm Candy (NEW SINGLE!)

My NEW SINGLE, Arm Candy, is OUT NOW!

And it merits backstory.

I refrain from divulging intimately on the internet. In this instance, honesty is worth sacrificing some discretion.

Halloween is about shadow. Embracing, accepting, even celebrating it (within reason.) It brings scars to light.

This song reveals qualities I try to hide: my clinginess, neediness, my inability to let go. A side most typically induced via entanglement with narcissists.

I hope this song will comfort those who struggle to exit toxic situations. As for those who made it through: consider it our power anthem (particularly the third verse.)

It’s best we all stay home this Halloween. May this song accompany your cozy indoor ventures!

Gratuitous thanks to TC, an awe-inspiring producer/musician. (All instrumental and cover design credit goes to you!)

Thanks to Lauren at Chatters for the rockstar hair, and to Candy Candy, for supplying the candy necklaces! You helped make the cover a reality.

Thanks to Kent Hoffman and Katherine Hoffman (aka mumndad) for exploitation of their basement, and, as ever, their patience.

Time to exorcise some demons.
